The special soil composition is clearly reflected in the taste of the wines. With a hillside location of 65 percent, the vines benefit from over 1,800 hours of sunshine a year. Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Spätburgunder grow particularly well here, but also Rieslaner, which, like Riesling, produces the best sweet wines.
