Our Syrah is awarded!

It's about future - Since 2022, the Fair Wine Award has been the competition for sustainably and environmentally friendly wines.

In the previous year, we were already able to report the successful performance of our 2019 Cabernet Franc Sonnenberg Rejoice as the best wine. This year was the 2019 Syrah Katzenstein awarded with a great 4.5 stars.

We are particularly pleased about this! After all, Syrah is not a typical grape variety for Germany, and in particular for the Palatinate. Inspired by his time in France and Argentina and even back then with the question of what the future might bring, owner Axel Neiss planted the first Syrah vineyard with us back in 1998. Back then still in trial cultivation, another vineyard has now been added. Because the future has shown that these grape varieties produce great, precise wines here. This shows once again how important it is to think and act with foresight, especially in our job - and that Axel has a knack for it!
